About me
Oh hey!
I am a Vancouver-based illustrator specializing in delightful illustrations, joyful GIFs, and murals that celebrate community. My work has been published in Flow Magazine, Libelle Magazine and other publications. Originally from The Netherlands, I moved to Vancouver in 2000 to study Film and Television at SFU. That single adventure started a journey towards a life in Canada with one husband, two decades and three kids.
After forays into TV production (associate producer), freelance writing for travel/lifestyle magazines and even as a youth novel author, I shifted my focus to illustration in 2018; now my primary pursuit.
In my free time you can find me catching up with books I need to read for book cub, schlepping my three kids to activities they’re passionate about and spending as much quality time as I can with my family and my best friends in the world.
